S. 73: TO AMEND TITLE 10, UNITED STATES CODE, TO AUTHORIZE CERTAIN DISABLED FORMER PRISONERS OF WAR TO USE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE COMMISSARY STORES AND POST AND BASE EXCHANGES. - A Bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to authorize certain disabled former prisoners of war to use Department of defense commissary stores and post and base exchanges.

S. 83: TO AMEND TITLE 5, UNITED STATES CODE, TO REQUIRE THE ISSUANCE OF A PRISONERÜOFÜWAR MEDAL TO CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WHO ARE FORCIBLY DETAINED OR INTERNED BY AN ENEMY GOVERNMENT OR A HOSTILE FORCE UNDER WARTIME CONDITIONS. - A Bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to require the issuance of a prisonerÜorÜwar medal to civilian employees of the Federal Government who are forcibly detained or interned by an enemy government or a hostile force under wartime conditions.

S. 256: MISSING SERVICE PERSONNEL ACT OF 1995. - A Bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to establish procedures for determing the status of certain missing members of the Armed Forces and certain civilian, and for other purposes.

S. 584: TO AUTHORIZE THE AWARD OF THE PURPLE HEART TO PERSONS WHO WERE PRISONERS OF WAR ON OR BEFORE APRIL 25, 1962. - A Bill to authorize the award of the Purple Heart to persons who were prisoners of war on or before April 25, 1962.

S. 615: TO AMEND TITLE 38, UNITED STATES CODE, TO REQUIRE THE SECRETARY OF VETERANS AFFAIRS TO FURNISH OUTPATIENT MEDICAL SERVICES FOR ANY DISABILITY OF A FORMER PRISONER OF WAR. - A Bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to furnish outpatient medical services for any disability of a former prisoner of war.

S. 1042: POW/MIA MEMORIAL HIGHWAY DESIGNATION ACT. - A Bill to designate a route as the "POW/MIA Memorial Highway", and for other purposes.

S. 1124, SEC. 541, 551, CHAPTER 76 Ü SEC. 1501, 1502, 1503, 1504, 1505, 1506, 1507, 1508, 1509, 1510 AND SEC. 655: DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT FOR 1996. - A Bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 1996 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe personnel strengths for such fiscal year for the Armed Forces, to reform acquisition laws and information technology mangement of the Federal Government, and for other purposes. This bill contains the Senate version of the Missing Service Personnel Act.

S. RES. 174: EXPRESSING THE SENSE OF THE SENATE THAT THE SECRETARY OF STATE SHOULD AGGRESSIVELY PURSUE THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS PRISONERS IN VIETNAM. - A Resolution expressing the sense of the Senate that the Secretary of State should aggressively pursue the release of political and religious prisoners in Vietnam.

S. J. RES. 26: DESIGNATING APRIL 9, 1995 AND APRIL 9, 1996 AS "NATIONAL FORMER PRISONER OF WAR RECOGNITION DAY". - Designating April 9, 1995 and April 9, 1996 as "National Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day".

S. J. RES. 34: VIETNAM POW/MIA FULL DISCLOSURE ACT OF 1995. - A Joint Resolution prohibiting funds for diplomatic relations and most'favored' nation trading status with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam unless the President certifies to Congress that Vietnamese officials are being fully cooperative and forthcoming with efforts to account for the 2,205 Americans still missing and otherwise unaccounted for from the Vietnam War, as determined on the basis of all information available to the United States Government, and for other purposes.

S. J. RES. 35: PROHIBITING FUNDS FOR DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH VIETNAM AT THE AMBASSADORIAL LEVEL UNLESS THE PRESIDENT CERTIFIES TO CONGRESS THAT VIETNAM IS MAKING A GOOD FAITH EFFORT TO RESOLVE CASES INVOLVING UNITED STATES SERVICEMEN WHO REMAIN UNACCOUNTED FOR FROM THE VIETNAM WAR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. - A Joint Resolution prohibiting funds for diplomatic relations with Vietnam at the ambassadorial level unless the President certifies to Congress that Vietnam is making a good faith effort to resolve cases involving United States servicemen who remain unaccounted for from the Vietnam War, and for other purposes.
