Purple Heart for DIC POWs - Update

27 JANUARY, 2008

"A WORD OF THANKS FROM OUR DEPARTED PRISONERS OF WAR!

"WHO WILL SPEAK OUT FOR THEM - THEY WHO DIED IN ENEMY CAPTIVITY?"

The over 17,000 gallant, and in most cases - very young American Service Personnel, who perished horrendously in Prisoner of War facilities since December 7, 1941, have finally been vindicated by having their last sacrifice for their nation recognized!

Our government and military alike have, at long last, realized that those service members who expired in enemy captivity over the past six decades and six years, are indeed worthy of recognition in the form of a posthumous Purple Heart Medal! "Finally, their spirits are set free!"

I have been reliably informed by Senator Barbara Boxer of California that the Department of Defense- Manual of Military Awards and Decorations (1348.33-M), is now being revised for publication by mid 2008. The Manual will now include eligibility for a Posthumous Purple Heart Medal, to include those who perished in POW facilities from causes such as Starvation, Torture, Lack of Medical Care, Death from Disease and Exposure etc. These brave Americans will finally be remembered by our grateful nation. A Nation, who like her people, does not, can not, and will not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice!
DEPARTED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!

VERITAS (Truth)
