Elderly Couple Goes Missing on Thanksgiving

November 23, 2007 - The Pennsauken Police Department is searching for an elderly couple reported missing after visiting family Thursday night.

85-year-old Albert Hansel and his 84-year-old wife Veronica left a relative's home and drove down Merchantville Avenue in Pennsauken. They were last seen at about 9 p.m. in Deptford, New Jersey. There has been no contact with the couple since.

The Hansels were driving a maroon color 1999 Chevrolet Lumina with New Jersey Prisoner of War plate number P1849.

Veronica is described as being 5' 1", 120 pounds with green eyes and white hair. She was last seen wearing a green shirt and pants with a beige jacket.

Albert is 6', 160 pounds with blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a Navy blue jacket and hat with blue pants.
