Cold War Victory Medal

11 NOVEMBER, 2007

Please check out this web site and forum. It has information on the Cold War Victory Medal (now pending in the House-Senate conference (SEC 556, COLD WAR VICTORY MEDAL, in H.R.1585). The medal is in the National Defense Authorization Act for 2008, but bureaucrats at the Pentagon want it stripped out. We want the medal kept in the final bill. You can help by asking your senator to speak up in support of the Cold War Medal. DonÕt ket these veterans and what they achieved be forgotten!

Call, fax and e-mail your senator. Keep the Cold War Medal in this yearÕs authorization. For more, go to www.americancoldwarvets.org and look at FLASH MESSAGE on the home page.

Also, I will be on satellite radio Sunday night at 10:30 Eastern Time (9:30 central, 8:30 mountain, and 7:30 Pacific time. This program is on XM Satellite radio, at Channel 170 (FAMILY TALK), and also over internet radio at www.wava.com, and heard locally in Washington
But donÕt forget Š time is critical here -- Call, fax and e-mail your senator. Keep the Cold War Medal in this yearÕs authorization. For more, go to www.americancoldwarvets.org and look at FLASH MESSAGE on the home page.
