"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, October 22, 2006 are:
3:00pm Mtn - Mr. Francis Gary Powers Jr: Gary is the son of Francis Gary
Powers, U-2 pilot for the CIA who was shot down over the Soviet Union on
May 1, 1960. He has carried on the legacy of his father by founding the
Cold War Museum to preserve Cold War history and honor Cold War
Veterans. Gary has collected documents, photos, artifacts and
memorabilia associated with the Cold War and formed a mobile exhibit to
promote interest in a permanent museum to be located near Washington,
DC. Since our country's earliest days, Washington DChas been the scene
for espionage and intelligence activity and it's selection to be the
location of the museum is appropriate. Gary will discuss the project,
where they are at in it's development and how you can help. Please visit

4:00pm Mtn - Mrs. Arlene Walters:Mrs. Walters is mother of Sgt. Donald
Walters, US Army, whosevaliantfighting at the battle of an Nasiriya
had been overlooked and disregarded by the Army. His actions were
originally credited to Pfc. Jessica Lynch. Trying to get the truth and
proper recognition for her son's heroism, Mrs. Waltersmet with
opposition and was largelyignored by the Army brass. With help from her
congresswoman, she successfull fought to have her son's Bronze Star
award upgraded to the Silver Star. The truth about her son's heroics are
slowly surfacing but justice for his murder as a Prisoner of Warhas not
been realized. The tremendous coverage about the Abu Graib and
Guantanamo detention facilities far outshadowedthe meagre mention of
the execution of AmericanPrisoners of Warafter the battle. Mrs.
Walters will discuss the facts as she has fought to get them and comment
on the lack of resolve by our government to even recognize the disparity
of treatment between Iraqi and American POW's by both governments.
5:00pm Mtn - News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans
issues.
Continued prayers are still requested for Steve Golding. He still has an
