POW-MIA Freedom Radio

15 October, 2006

"All,

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, October 15, 2006 are:

3:00pm Mtn - Mrs. Fran Masterson:On October 13, 1968, Capt. Michael "Bat" Masterson, USAF was flying a night mission over Laos when hisA1G Skyraiderdeveloped a problemforcing himto abort his mission. The situation was critical and he radioed he was getting out. Not long afterward his wingman observed an orange fireball in the jungle below. Did Capt. Masterson bail out successfully? Was he captured by the Pathet Lao and held POW? These are the questions Fran, his wife, has been asking for the last 38 years. Fran has never given up hope, travelled to SE Asia, became an activist and endured the twists and turns of her continuing battle with thegovernment just to find the truth about her husband. The recent excavation andrecovered artifacts arepurported to be conclusive proof that Bat died when hisWWII vintage aircraft plunged into the jungle. Is this enough to bury another case or is it only circumstantial evidence? Joining Fran in our discussion is Mr. John Pagel, Chairman, Task Force Omega of Southern California, who has worked with her on this case. Please visit http://www.nationalalliance.org and look articles about Capt. Michael "Bat" Masterson. You can also read an article about the excavation in Smithsonian Magazine, August, 2006 at http://www.smithsonianmagazine.com/issues/2006/august/laos.php?page=2
