"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, December 10, 2006 are:
3:00pm Mtn - Mr. Charles Lindbergh: Mr. Lindbergh, as Corporal, USMC, participated in the first raising of the American flag on Iwo Jima's Mt. Suribachi on February 23, 1945, during World War II. This was the FIRST flag raising, inspiring the troops on the island and the men on the ships who witnessed it. He is the lone surviving member of either flag raising. Charles will discuss both the first and second events and why, until recently, we seem to only remember or even know about the latter, staged raising of our flag. He will also talk about "Flags of Our Fathers", the book and movie about how that event affected the lives of those involved.
4:00pm Mtn - Mr Roy Lippincott: Roy is a US Navy WWII veteran who will describe his experiences and service from before Pearl Harbor and after the war ended.
5:00pm Mtn - News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.
Continued prayers are still requested for Steve Golding. He still has an uphill battle ahead of him. Please take the time to leave him a message and best wishes at: http://stevegolding.blogspot.com
Please note: We will be featuring Mr. Bill Bell, and his book "Leave No Man Behind", on December 17, 2006. This will be a special call-in show so your questions and comments will be invited.
