POW-MIA Freedom Radio

03 December, 2006

"All, Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, December 3, 2006 are:

3:00pm Mtn - Mr. John Leboutillier: John is a former congressman from New York and presently columnist for NewsMax.com. He is a nationally recognized political commentator and has been a frequent guest on national talk shows. John has authored several books and also contributes to several major newspapers and magazines. He has been active in POW/MIA issues since he served as a member of the Special House POW/MIA Task Force. John will discuss his views on the results of our recent mid-term elections and what effects the elections may have on the POW/MIA issue. His articles can be found at http://www.newsmax.com .

4:00 pm Mtn - Ms. Diane Moore: Diane is the daughter of Sgt. Thomas Moore, USAF, Prisoner of War, lost on October 31, 1965 along with three other Air Force sergeants. The other men were Sgt. Charles Dusing, Sgt. Samuel Adams and Sgt. Jasper Page. While being moved to another location, Sgt. Page escaped but the others were not as successful. As a daughter of a missing American, Diane has suffered the trauma of trying to find answers about her dad. Her struggle is one not often even thought about by those not directly affected by the POW/MIA issue. She has endured not only a lifetime of searching but also that same lifetime without a father figure that would be a friend, guide and mentor. Diane met and married Chris Rich, who's dad, Capt. Richard Rich, USN, was also MIA. In 2000, remains were returned and identified as those of Capt. Rich. Certainly closure for Chris, but another emotional experience for Diane, still waiting for her dad to return. Now, JPAC has decided to move on an excavation for remains of her father and her notification of this comes when she hears about it on NBC News! Diane will discuss this latest gaffe and what she has learned.

5:00pm Mtn - News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Looking for a special Christmas gift? We will have suggestions that will make a most exclusive present.

Our thoughts are with the family of Maj. Troy Gilbert, USAF, Missing in Action (Officially DUSTWUN) in Iraq. His plane crashed NW of Baghdad and officials have been vague about what has been found at his crash site.

Continued prayers are still requested for Steve Golding. He still has an uphill battle ahead of him. Please take the time to leave him a message and best wishes at: http://stevegolding.blogspot.com

Please note: We will be featuring Mr. Bill Bell, and his book "Leave No Man Behind", on December 17, 2006. This will be a special call-in show so your questions and comments will be invited.
