POW-MIA Radio Broadcast

21 January, 2005

"All,

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, January 23, 2005 are:

3:00pm Mtn - Mr. Ralph McClintock and Mr. Alvin Plucker: Sunday is the 37th anniversary of the seizure of USS Pueblo. The ship was attacked and captured by North Korean naval vessels on January 23, 1968. The crew was taken in captivity and spent the next 11 months enduring interrogation, torture and grossly insufficient rations. The incident and their defiant resistance has been well documented over the years. Both men played key roles during the incident and subsequent time as POWs. Mr. Plucker, as Quartermaster, was responsible for ships navigation and Mr. McClintock, as Communicator, kept the vital communications going during the attack. Both men will relate their experiences during Pueblo's fateful mission.

4:00pm Mtn - Mr. Don Amorosi: Meet a truly dedicated advocate for our POW/MIAs. A US Navy veteran for six years, Don is active with the Northeast POW/MIA Network and connected with many other veteran support groups. He and other veterans, decided to form a more active organization, dedicated to primarily the return of LIVE American POWs and the repatriation of remains of our missing. Thus the Northeast POW/MIA Network was born. They have what may be the longest, uninterrupted, weekly POW/MIA vigil. In Meredith, New Hampshire; this is their 15th year! Don will discuss his activities on behalf of our missing and all of our veterans. Of particular importance is the effort to fight further obfuscation of the issue by the government's attempt to call our Prisoners of War/Missing in Action by any other name than POW/MIA!

A man is not dead until he has been abandoned and forgotten.
CAPT. Michael Scott Speicher, SPC Keith Maupin, American Contractors Marc Gonsalves, Keith Stansell, Thomas Howes, Thomas Bell...etc...etc...etc.

Close your eyes for one minute...imagine what you would feel if you were them!
