3:00pm Mtn - News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our special guest at 3:15pm will be Ms. Lynn O'Shea, Director of Research, National Alliance of Families. Lynn will discuss current issues and the Call to Action, POW Petition Drive. Please go to http://www.nationalalliance.org for more information.

4:00pm Mtn - Mrs. Carolyn Maupin: Mrs. Maupin is the mother of Sgt. Keith "Matt" Maupin, USA. Sgt. Maupin was captured by insurgents when his convoy was ambushed on Good Friday, April 9th, 2004. As a member of the Army's 724th Transportation Company, he was part of the escort to protect civilian contractors as they provided logistical support from Balad to Baghdad International airport. The ambush was well executed as at least eight men were killed and two are still missing.Ê Shortly afterward, then Pfc. Maupin was seen on a video, captured and alive. A later video, purporting the execution of an unidentified person was shown. The fact remains that Spc. Maupin was last seen alive. This is the story of what this last year has been for his family and friends.

5:00pm - Mr. Michael Sledge: Mike is a freelance journalist and writer. He has studied the sociology and psychology of the behavior of military personnel extensively. His latest work is "Soldier Dead - How We Recover, Identify, Bury, and Honor Our Military Fallen". This book addressess the many issues concerning remains of men and women who die while serving their country. He analyzes the processes of recovery, identification, return, burial and remembrance of the dead. Mike will discuss why he wrote this book and his experiences in the subject.
