POW-MIA Freedom Radio

06 March, 2005

"All,

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, March 6, 2005 are:

3:00pm Mtn - Mr. Tony Onorato and Mr. Bob Wetzel: Tony is an attorney with the law firm of Steptoe and Johnson, LLP, and Bob is a former POW of Operation Desert Storm in 1991. A US Navy pilot shot down on January 17, 1991, Bob was held captive for the rest of the war. He and other veterans were captured during Operation Desert Storm and endured brutal torture under the regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Tony is representing Bob and others, seeking damages for the torture they received.Ê This case, filed in April 2002, seeks to raise public awareness and hold Iraq responsible for their attrocities. Their successful efforts will send a message to the world, especially terrorist countries and enemies of the US, that we will no longer tolerate the torture of American servicemen and women. Can you possibly imagine the logic behind the outcry and headlines received by those Iraqi detainees when our own men and women have been treated far, far worse? Tony and Bob will discuss the latest on their case. Please visit http://www.stopPOWtorture.org for more information on how you can support them.

4:00pm - Mtn - Mr. Kirt Love: Kirt is an Army veteran, dedicated to the support of all veterans, especially those suffering from diseases attributed to the Gulf Wars. Kirt is Director of the Desert Storm Battle Registry, he has testified before the government on issues relating to the many problems our Gulf War veterans have experienced. Kirt will discuss our military medical policies and practices concerning our troops deployed to the gulf. Now, still involved in the continuing deployment, he will present his opinion of the success or shortcomings of these policies. Kirt will also discuss the current crises in the VA and our returning troops including Acinetobacter Baumannii. Please visit: http://www.acinetobacter.org and http://www.gulflink.org for more information.

5:00pm - Mtn: News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA and Veterans issues. Our special guest in this hour will be Mr. Luong Troung. Ly Tong is in danger of being extradited to Communist Vietnam before his sentence is served. Please listen and learn how we can support him and get him back to the US.
