Army Board To Discuss Maupin Status
06 April, 2005
BATAVIA, Ohio -- An Army board will meet Wednesday in Virginia to discuss whether to change Matt Maupin's status from captured to killed in action.
The Batavia native disappeared a year ago this Saturday when Iraqi rebels attacked his convoy near the city of Baghdad.
There is a special prayer service scheduled for him in Clermont County Wednesday evening and a benefit in his honor on Saturday.
