POW-MIA Freedom Radio Broadcast

February 29, 2004

"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, February 29, 2004 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.

4:00pm Mtn - Mr. Leo Hrdlicka. Leo's brother, Capt. David Hrdlicka, USAF, went missing May 18, 1965, on a mission that took him over Laos. He successfully parachuted from his F-105 after being hit by ground fire. David was seen alive afterward and appeared in a Vietnamese newspaper and on a taped recorded broadcast. China claimed him as a prisoner, he appeared in Russia's PRAVDA and our own intelligence reported him alive in the caves near Sam Neua, Laos. Leo has worked extensively for his release, even travelling the Mekong River seeking information on his brother. He remains active in the issue and will offer his comments on current issues today.

5:00pm Mtn - Ms. Amanda Kidd and Mr. Steve Preston. Amanda for years has researched the case of CMSgt. James A. Preston, USAF, missing in action, May 15, 1966. Her quest has led her to information that begs new answers. Steve is a younger brother of James and is working with Amanda to find the truth about his brothers disappearance. Sgt. Preston's flight, "Spooky 10", was an AC-47 gunship on an armed reconaissance mission over Laos. After at least two radio position reports, contact was lost and the aircraft failed to return to base. The next day an aerial search was conducted with negative results. Over 30 years later, the crash site of "Spooky 10" was found along with some bone fragments and "questionable personal belongings". The government closed the "empty caskets" and another 8 cases were expeditiously deleted from the those of our POW/MIAs. Steve and Amanda will discuss what it feels like as family members fighting a government with an "Empty Coffin" agenda.

You can still order your copy of "Leave No Man Behind", by Bill Bell and Jay Veith. Please visit the website http://www.goblinfernpress.com/bookpage_lnmb.html for ordering and discount information.

Remember H. Res. 402...Remember that trade with Vietnam only filled the coffers of people like Kerry's family. Trade with Laos will not help bring home Col. Hrdlicka and CMSgt. Preston!

Please listen to POW/MIA Radio every Sunday at 3:00pm Mountain time on the American Freedom Network, http://www.americanewsnet.com . We also broadcast on KHNC-AM, 1360khz, Johnstown, Colorado.

Thanks,
Rod Utech, Producer
