Re: POW-MIA Freedom Radio Schedule
Date: January 11, 2004
"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, January 11, 2004 are:
3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans
issues.
4:00pm Mtn - Ms. Susan Mesinai and Mr. John Backes. John is a well known
activist and will host this interview with Susan. Co-Founder and Director of
the ARK Project of Freedom Channel, Susan has been dedicated to "live search"
investigations into the fate of prisoners that have disappeared into the Soviet
Gulag. She has received awards for her work to help the media in cases of Americans
lost during the Cold War and spent over ten years researching the case of Raoul
Wallenberg. Susan will discuss her work with the ARK Project and her success
stories of locating prisoners in the myriad prisons of the Soviet Gulags.
5:00pm Mtn - Ms. Laura Crum. Laura was a Red Cross worker providing
services to US military personnel in SE Asia during the Vietnam War. Affectionately
known as a "Donut Dolly", she served in Vietnam in '69-'70, helping
to bring a touch of "the world" to our troops at both large bases
as well as forward areas. These dedicated women helped boost the morale of our
men and divert attention from the monotony of duty and the horrors of combat.
Five Red Cross staff members gave their lives in Vietnam and many other injured
of the almost 500 who served. Please visit http://www.donutdolly.com for more
information.
