"Mass grave of martyrs found in Central Highlands

Kon Tum, Dec. 27 (VNA) - The Central Highlands Kon Tum province search team for martyrs remains has found the remains of 127 soldiers who died in the war against the US in Dac Me village, Ngoc Hoi district.

All the martyrs were buried in a bomb crater at a military base of the US army prior to 1972.

Findings at the grave included three pens carved with full names but no native villages.

Twenty remains have been delivered to the provincial Ngoc Hoi cemetery while the remainder is expected to be moved to the cemetery before the lunar new year."
