Re:POW-MIA Freedom Radio
Date: June 27, 2004
"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, June 27, 2004 are:
3:00pm Mtn - News and Views: An hour of the latest POW/MIA
and veterans issues. We will be joined by Ms. Robin Piacini, President and Director
of the Coalition of Families of Korean & Cold War POW/MIAs. We will discuss
strategies concerning current legislation regarding our missing men and women
and our POW in Iraq, Pfc. Keith Maupin.
4:00pm Mtn - Mr. Larry J. O'Daniel and Mr. John McCarthy. ***This is
a special two-hour show***
John is a former Special Forces Captain in the US Army and has recently
been elected Chairman of the Board of Veterans Equal Rights Protection Advocacy,
Inc. (VERPA). VERPA is a multi mission organization that supports the rights
of our military and veterans. Presently, they are working to abolish the Feres
Doctrine, a Supreme Court decision in 1950 that does not allow servicemen serving
on active duty to sue the government for injuries received while on active duty.
Please see http://www.verpa.org for more info. Larry, former US Army Vietnam
Veteran and intelligence officer in the Phoenix Program, will discuss his recent
book, "Trails of Deceit", an excellent first hand account of the program
and our POW/MIAs in Southeast Asia. We will also continue our discussions on
Presidential Candidate, John Kerry. Do Kerry's post Vietnam war exploits and
record in the POW/MIA issue as well as his lack of support for Human Rights
in Vietnam disqualify him to be our Commander-in Chief? Please visit http://www.geocities.com/larryjodaniel/26.html
for more information. We will discuss a variety of subjects including the Phoenix
Operation, Project Cherry, the Feres Doctrine and todays events, including the
recent 9-11 Commission and implcations of knowledge of the attack by President
Bush.
*** There will be no live show on Sunday, July 4, 2004. ***
Remember Pfc. Keith Maupin...Prisoner of War since April 9, 2004. Contact his
representative, Mr. Rob Portman, 202-225-3164 and demand every effort be made
to effect his immediate release!
Ask your senators why the "Bring Them Home Alive Act of 2000", (S-1339,
the "Speicher Bill"), as amended, is not being used now!
