POWs who survived the infamous "Tiger March" in Korea of 1950. The
march, reminicient of the Bataan Death March of World War II, was named for
the North Korean Major whose brutal and sadistic treatment resulted in hundreds
of American deaths, 89 of which were executed by The Tiger or his men. Shorty
will discuss his ordeal and his efforts to ensure that POWs who died in captivity
receive the recognition they deserve, namely the Purple Heart. H.R. 4425, "Honor
Our Fallen Prisoners of War Act, has been introduced for this purpose. Please

5:00pm Mtn - Mr. Jim Stone and Mr. Frank Tetro. JB and Frank are survivors of
the top secret government testing program known as Project SHAD/112 done primarily
during the 1960s. Both men are former crew members of the USS Granville, YAG-40,
one of many US Navy vessels used in the Shipboard Hazard And Defense tests.
Tens of thousands of servicemen and women in all brances of service, on ships
and shore stations, were unwitting "guinea pigs" of some of the most
toxic chemical, biological and nuclear warfare agents in out weapons arsenal.
The effects of these tests are still being suffered by these men and women and
their families. The SHAD Project was classified and the existence of the program
was denied until recently. Both of these men will discuss their involvement
and what others can do if they suspect involvement in SHAD. Please visit http://www.projectshad.us
for some of the latest information from those directly involved.
Remember Pfc. Keith Maupin...Prisoner of War since April 9, 2004. Contact his
representative, Mr. Rob Portman, 202-225-3164 and demand every effort be made
to effect his immediate release!
Ask your senators why the "Bring Them Home Alive Act of 2000", (S-1339,
the "Speicher Bill"), as amended, is not being used now!
