Re: POW-MIA Freedom Radio

Date: March 13, 2004

"All:

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, March 14, 2004 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views.  An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.

4:00pm Mtn - Ms. Denise Nichols.  Denise is a former Major in the US Air Force during Operation Desert Storm and is currently the Vice Chair of the National Vietnam and Gulf War Veterans Coalition. She has testified before many government committees on the symptoms of the various Gulf War illnesses.  She is an advocate for heath care issues for all veterans and has been following the health related casualties of our troops involved in Iraq today.  She will give us the latest on what issues our troops are facing today.

5:00pm Mtn - Mr. Ray Goulet.  Ray is the brother of Roland Goulet, USAF, a radioman-gunner aboard an RB-50G that was shot down off the coast of Russia, July 29, 1953.  Roland's plane was on a "ferret mission", tasked to fly close enough to the Soviet border to provoke a response, especially a radar or signals intelligence response.  The USG had told families that these missions were routine training or weather reconnaissance.  One man survived this flight and documents released to the US-Russia Joint Commision suggest there could be others.  Ray will discuss his efforts to find the truth about his brother and other mysterious issues that have surfaced concerning this Cold War incident.
