4:00pm Mtn - Mr. John "Top" Holland. John is a three war veteran. He saw combat on Guadalcanal during WWII and continued service in both Korea and Vietnam. He has been an outspoken advocate for our POW/MIAs and veterans issues. John will discuss his career in the military as well as his opinion of the current election personalities.
5:00pm Mtn - Mr. Tom Schepers. Tom is a US Marine Vietnam Veteran. While serving with I-Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, he was wounded in combat and told he may never walk again. Through intense determination he not only walked but began running. His "rehab" continued and culminated in his World War II Veterans Run in 2000. He ran, carrying both a US and POW flag, from Camp Pendleton, CA to Washington, DC to honor WWII veterans and bring increased awareness to the POW/MIA issue. Tom continues to run in local events and work for awareness every chance he gets. He will discuss his latest activities and future events.
