Re: Pat Plumadore Passes
Date: June 05, 2004
Much sadness today... Pat Plumadore, the tireless sister of MIA USMC LCPL Ken Plumadore, passed away, on this the very day Ken's remains were buried. After a long battle with illness and an even longer battle with the USG, Dod and DPMO, she is at rest and has found the answers she sought for so long.
The Plumadore case has been a nightmare with KIA/BNR, MIA, possible POW, misidentifications, burials in wrong graves, mtDNA questions, and finally a supposed identification with the USG failing to even notify the family.
The National Alliance of Families, and Lynn O'Shea, have been good friends to Pat. They have worked endlessly on her behalf and written extensively on Ken's case. Please take the time to visit them and learn what this family has been put through.
