Date: May 22, 2004
"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, May 23, 2004 are:
3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA
and veterans issues.
4:00pm Mtn - Mr. George Hadeler. George is the secretary
for membership in the Save The Montagnards People, Inc. organization.
He will talk about the upcoming annual Memorial Day picnic for the
Montagnard people and how we can support them. The Montagnards were our
loyal allies during the Vietnam War and many Americans owe their lives to the
bravery and sacrifices of these men and women. The Annual Montagnard Picnic
will be held from May 29-30, 2004 in Asheboro, NC. George will talk about
the event and the goals of the organization. Please visit http://www.montagnards.org
for information on the history of the people and how we can help stop the human
rights attrocities still perpetrated by the Communist Vietnamese government.
5:00pm Mtn - Mr. Danny "Greasy" Belcher. Greasy,
Vietnam Veteran, Director of Task Force Omega Kentucky, has been the most
outspoken activist in support of POW/MIA legislative initiatives. He was
instrumental in getting HR. 402, supporting human rights in Laos, voted on and
passed by an overwhelming majority. Greasy has seen to it that the
POW/MIA flag has been raised and flown in numerous communities in Kentucky. He
will discuss upcoming events and offer his opinion on the current political
situation and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Please visit Greasy's
web site for more information, http://www.greasyonline.com .
Remember Pfc. Keith Maupin...Prisoner since April 9, 2004. Contact
his representative, Mr. Rob Portman, 202-225-3164 and demand every effort
be made to effect his immediate release! We don't want another General
Shalikashvili type to abandon him as they did Capt. Michael Scott Speicher!
APATHY IS NOT AN OPTION!
HR 103...Let's not forget our missing and abandon them again!
