"Remains of Vietnam soldiers buried after return from Laos
The remains of 18 Vietnamese soldiers killed while fighting in Laos during the Vietnam War have been buried with full military honours in central Vietnam.
The Vietnamese military says their corpses were discovered recently in the southern Lao province of Saravane during joint Vietnamese-Lao search operations.
An official says they have been formally buried in the Hue City war cemetery.
The remains of another 41 Vietnamese soldiers, discovered recently in the Lao city of Savannakhet, were laid to rest in Vietnam's Quang Tri province earlier this week.
The two communist neighbours regularly conduct joint missions to recover Vietnamese missing in action in Laos.
