buries Gulf War 'missing'
The return of the missing is helping to heal Kuwaiti wounds
Kuwaitis have been burying the remains of the latest 10 missing prisoners recovered
from Iraq since the war last year to oust Saddam Hussein.
The remains were identified by DNA samples collected from family members.
One hundred and eleven bodies have now been identified from the 600 men and
women snatched by Saddam's forces during the 1990/91 Iraqi occupation.
Two sets of brothers were among the latest batch of people to be identified
in Iraq.
The three al-Maneh brothers were taken on the same day in October 1990, while
the two al-Khouhs were seized in September.
Relatives gathered on Monday at Kuwait's Sulaibikhat cemetery to bury the remains.
Most of the 600 missing were Kuwaiti citizens, but they also include other nationalities
who had been resident in Kuwait when Iraq invaded in August 1990.
In a separate development, Kuwait repatriated 10 Iraqis who had served prison
terms in the emirate on Sunday.
"They have nothing to do with, and were not detained in relation to the
conflict of 1990-91," International Red Cross spokesman Fouad Bawaba said.
