Date: April 23, 2004
"Halliburton
Identifies 3 employees as casualties.
Stephen Hulett, 48, of Manistee, Mich.; Jeffrey Parker, 45, of Lake Charles,
La.; and Jack Montague, 52, "were brave hearts without medals, humanitarians
without parades and heroes without statues," Houston-based Halliburton
said in a statement confirming the identities of the workers.
A fourth set of remains was recovered, and has to be publicly identified if
it is the remains of an American.
Thomas Hamill, a Halliburton employee, captured and seen on video, remains unaccounted-for
as well as 3 other civilian workers for which there is no known information.
Two US Army soldiers went missing during the same loss incident, PFC Keith "Matt"
Maupin and SGT Elmer C. Krause. Maupin was seen in captive status in a video,
with DoD confirming his Captured status. Krause remains in unaccounted-for.
All 9 individuals went missing 09 APR 04 when their convoy was attacked west
f Baghdad, Iraq."
