Re: POW-MIA Freedom Radio Broadcast
Date: January 04, 2004
"All,
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, January 4, 2004 are:
3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.
Our guest during this hour is Mrs. Arlene Walters, mother of Sgt. Donald Walters,
whose valiant fighting at the battle of al Nasiriya has been overlooked and
disregarded by the Army. Trying to get the truth and proper recognition for
her son's heroism, Mrs. Walters is being stonewalled and ignored by the Army
brass.
4:00pm Mtn - Mr. Bob Wetzel and Mr. Tony Onorato. Bob is a former Navy pilot
and POW from Operation Desert Storm and Tony is one of the attornies representing
17 combat veterans who were captured, and their families, seeking damages for
the torture they endured. In July, 2003, a judge ruled in favor of the former
POWs but since then, President Bush has ruled that these funds be used for the
rebuilding of Iraq. Now, billions more in Iraqi assets have been found in banks
in several Middle East countries. Will these former POWs again be abandoned
by our government? Please visit http://www.stopPOWtorture.org for more information.
5:00pm Mtn - Ms. Lynn O'Shea. Lynn is the New York State Director for the National
Alliance of Families and also a family member. With the new year, there are
new opportunities and challenges for those seeking truthful answers in the POW/MIA
issue. The National Alliance of Families is spearheading those efforts and holding
our government responsible for it's actions and answers to families and friends
of our missing. 2004 may be a critical year in the POW/MIA issue. Lynn will
discuss what lies ahead and some of the key cases that beg for attention. The
NAF website has a wealth of information. Please visit and bookmark http://www.nationalalliance.org
.
Remember H. RES. 103. Phone call...$1.00, Postage...$0.37, Return of a live
American...Priceless!!!
Please listen to POW/MIA Radio every Sunday at 3:00pm Mountain on the American
Freedom Network, http://www.americanewsnet.com . We also broadcast on KHNC-AM,
1360khz, Johnstown, Colorado.
Thanks,
