"VFW Helping in Search For Relatives of Missing Servicemen
(Blytheville-AP) -- A nationwide search for family members of servicemen still listed as missing in action from the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Volunteers want DNA samples that could identify bodies turned over to the United States by other countries.
In Mississippi County, the relatives of four missing servicemen are being sought -- two each from the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
In the county, family members of Korean War soldiers William Lum Sanders and Arthur Robert Olsen are being sought. The family members of two Vietnam veterans, Therman Morris of Wynne and Richard Wilson of Crawfordsville, also are being sought.
In order to provide the proper DNA sample, the relative must be a mother, father, sister, brother or child of the missing soldier. All that is needed is a strand of hair or a hair brush or comb from that family member .
