"Woman To Return M.I.A. Bracelet
WEST MILTON, Ohio -- Air Force Sgt. James Locker, of Sidney, will finally be laid to rest on Saturday after being missing in action for 35 years from the Vietnam War.
Lisa Fairchild, of West Milton, will be at the funeral who only knows Sgt. Locker by the P.O.W./M.I.A bracelet she wears. She was only four when he was shot down over Vietnam.
Sgt. Locker was on a search and rescue mission when the chopper he was on was hit by gunfire and exploded.
Funeral services for Locker will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Sidney. A full military burial will follow at Glen Cemetery near Port Jefferson in Shelby County.
