""2003...Let's set them Free"

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, August 17, 2003 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.

4:00pm Mtn - Mr. John Backes and Mr. Jerry Schutter. John is a respected activist in the POW/MIA issue and Jerry is the Service Chief at the Central Blind Rehabilitation Center, Hines VA Hospital in Illinois. John recently completed a program at the VA to help visually impaired veterans obtain a computer and use software programs that enable him to increase his computer proficiency. Jerry and John will discuss the program and how it helps our veterans.

5:00pm Mtn - Mr. John McCarthy and Mr. Larry J. O'Daniel. John is a former Special Forces Captain in the US Army and has recently been elected Chairman of the Board of Veterans Equal Rights Protection Advocacy, Inc. (VERPA). VERPA is a multi mission organization that supports the rights of our military and veterans. Presently, they are working to abolish the Feres Doctrine, a Supreme Court decision in 1950 that does not allow servicemen serving on active duty to sue the government for injuries received while on active duty. Larry is an author, activist and former Special Operations Intelligence Officer in the Phoenix Program during Vietnam. His book, "Trails of Deceit", details the cover up in the POW/MIA issue. Both will discuss VERPA's mission, the Phoenix Project and Project Cherry. Please see http://www.verpa.org for more information.

REMEMBER H.RES.103...CO-SPONSORS ARE NEEDED NOW. GET YOUR REPRESENTATIVE ON BOARD.

Please listen to POW/MIA Radio, every Sunday beginning at 3:00pm Mountain time, on The American Freedom Network, http://www.americanewsnet.com . We also broadcast on satellite and locally on KHNC-AM, 1360khz, Johnstown, Colorado.

Thanks,
