""2003...Let's set them Free"

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, November 9, 2003 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our special guest on this hour is Mary, Army Mom. Mary's daughter is currently deployed and her son-in-law, who returned from Irag will be re-deployed next month. Through her family, and her involvement with ArmyMomsUSA, Mary has learned much about what it is really like "over there" in the Middle East, particularly Iraq. She will share her knowledge and feelings; information that you may not get from our government and mainstream media. For more information, please visit their web site, http://www.armymomsusa.org .

4:00pm Mtn - Mr. Brian Rooney. Brian is a Vietnam Veteran, high school teacher and founder of RVETS, a non-profit, disabled-veterans organization. For the past 30 years, Brian's passion has been to locate and catalogue veteran's memorials in America. His efforts will help identify long lost or neglected memorials so their purpose will not be forgotten. Brian also hopes to recognize the servicemen listed on these memorials, and their stories. Legislation has been introduced in the Senate (S. 1092) and House (H. R. 2201) that would authorize the establishment of a national database to locate, identify and catalog these memorials.

5:00pm Mtn - Mr. Kirt Love and Ms. Venus Hammack. Kirt and Venus are Army veteran's dedicated to the support of veterans, especially those suffering from diseases attributed to the Gulf Wars. Kirt is Director of the Desert Storm Battle Registry both have testified before the government on issues relating to the many problems our Gulf War veterans have experienced. The last time Kirt and Venus joined us, they warned of the dangers concerning our military medical policies and practices before we deployed to the gulf. Now, in the middle of our involvement, they will present their scorecard of these policies. Please visit http://www.gulflink.org for more information.
