"Jessica Lynch, fiancé plan June wedding in Colorado

Former POW Jessica Lynch is shopping for a gown for a June wedding in Colorado.

Lynch, who is engaged to Army Sgt. Ruben Contreras, searched last week in Washington for a specific wedding dress but came up empty-handed, her future mother-in-law told the Colorado Springs Gazette.

Contreras' mom, Lisa Latorre, told Lynch not to worry. "I checked, and she can get the dress here," Latorre said.

The former Army supply clerk, who was taken prisoner during the war in Iraq, will meet Latorre for the first time at Thanksgiving in Colorado Springs.

The exact date for the wedding remains a secret, but it is expected to be in June - two years after the couple met at a Taco Bell near Fort Bliss, Texas, where they were both stationed."
