"2003, Let's set them Free!"

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, April 13, 2003 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our special guest will be Airman Paul A Benavides, USAF. In a recent letter to his family, Paul comments about the anti-war protests from his viewpoint in the service, and relates a poignant story of his experience as a member of an elite Air Force base honor guard that tells what it is like to "bring home" a fellow veteran.

4:00pm Mtn - Kieran McKibben. Kieran is the daughter of SSGT Hugh M. Lynch, USMC, a linguist aboard PR-21, an EC-121M, shot down by North Korea on April 15, 1969. SSGT Lynch, along with 30 crewmembers, in an unarmed reconnaissance aircraft, disappeared after being attacked by two North Korean MiGs. Kieran has worked for years to find answers to her dad's loss that is another in a series of "empty coffins": those cases that have been closed after a cursory investigation and offering of partial evidence. She has succeeded in in locating and gathering many family members of the crew for remembrance and support.

5:00pm Mtn - Danny "Greasy" Belcher. Greasy, Vietnam Veteran, Director of Task Force Omega Kentucky and Rolling Thunder Kentucky Chapter 3, has been the most outspoken activist in support of POW/MIA legislative initiatives. Working with Larry Vigil, Senator Ben Campbell's Legislative Director, He has spearheaded the efforts to get the Persian Gulf War POW/MIA Accountability Act of 2002 and POW Flag bill passed. Now, with the rescue of Jessica Lynch, in large part due to the efforts of an Iraqi named Mohammed, a practical and immediate application of this law is available. Greasy will discuss the process to reward this man, as covered under the bill, as well as current events happening now. Please visit Greasy's web site for more information, http://www.greasyonline.com .

Please listen to POW/MIA Radio every Sunday on The American Freedom Network, http://www.americanewsnet.com . We also broadcast on satellite and locally on KHNC-AM, 1360khz, Johnstown, Colorado.

Thanks,

Rod Utech, Producer
