Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, March 16, 2003 are:
4:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our guest in this hour will be Kirt Love. Kirt is a Gulf War veteran and Director of the Desert Storm Battle Registry. He has not only worked for health issues around the Gulf War but readiness issues for our troops deployed in the gulf now preparing to free Iraq.
5:00pm Mtn - John LeBoutillier. John is a former congressman from New York and presently columnist for NewsMax.com. He is a nationally recognized political commentator and has been a frequent guest on national talk shows. John has authored several books and also contributes to several major newspapers and magazines. He has been active in POW/MIA issues since he served as a member of the Special House POW/MIA Task Force. With his experience and insight, John will give discuss the issues surrounding the impending conflict in the Middle East. His articles on current affairs can be found at http://www.newsmax.com .
6:00pm Mtn - Col. (Doctor) George "Bud" Day, USAF (retired). A veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, Bud is also a former POW, held for 67 months in North Vietnam, before being released during Operation Homecoming on March 14, 1973. He holds nearly seventy military decorations including the Medal of Honor. Bud is also a trial lawyer and is currently spearheading the effort in support of military retirees' health care. His class-action lawsuit addresses our government's betrayal of our WWII and Korea veterans by not honoring their contract for lifetime medical care.
