"2003...Let's set them Free"
Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, February 16, 2003 are:
3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our special guest will be Ruth Coder Fitzgerald, President of The Vietnam War In Memory Memorial, Inc. Ruth will discuss her efforts to encourage public support to honor America's post-Vietnam casualties on a commemorative plaque on the grounds of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
4:00pm Mtn - Trilogy Financial Services representatives Steve Rarey and Tom Elkins will discuss "Taxation with Financial Representation". Veterans and everyone will benefit if their retirement plans include tax considerations. Solid financial planning is essential to mitigate the problems we face at retirement and how our investments are treated for taxation can be critical to the success of our plan. Please feel free to call in during this show at 1-970-689-8255 and ask Steve or Tom about options and strategies.
5:00pm Mtn - Larry Stark, former Vietnam POW and activist. Larry was a civilian labor coordinator with a construction firm in Vietnam. He was captured during the 1968 Tet Offensive while working in Hue. He spent months being moved from camp to camp in the south before he finally ended in the notorious prison system in North Vietnam. His incarceration of over five years included five months in solitary confinement. Larry will be our first guest in a series commemorating the 30th anniversary of Operation Homecoming, the return of almost 600 Prisoners of War.
Please listen to POW/MIA Radio every Sunday on The American Freedom Network, http://www.americanewsnet.com . We also broadcast on satellite and locally on KHNC-AM, 1360khz, Johnstown, Colorado.
Thanks,
Rod Utech, Producer
