""2003...Let's set them Free"

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, August 3, 2003 are:

3:00pm Mtn - News and Views. An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues. Our special guest will be Mrs. Arlene Walters, mother of Sgt. Donald R. Walters, killed in action at An Nasiriyah, Iraq, on March 23, 2003. It was Sgt. Walters' heroic actions in that battle that have been erroneously attributed to Pvt Jessica Lynch. Mrs. Walters and many others agree it's time to set the record straight about this tragedy.

4:00pm Mtn - Mrs. Sharon Dreyer. Sharon is the niece of Sgt. Earl H. Spredemann, US Army Air Force, who was missing and presumed to be lost at sea on a flight bringing him home after World War II. He disappeared on September 8, 1945 and until 1998 remained missing. It was a chance sighting of aircraft wreckage in the jungles of what is now Irian Jaya, Indonesia, that started the process of eventually identifying him and others, thus solving an almost 60 year old mystery. Sharon will discuss the events in this miraculous recovery and the dedication of the team of investigators from CILHI.

5:00pm Mtn - Ms. Denise Nichols. Denise is the Vice Chairman of the National Vietnam and Gulf War Veterans Coalition. She is a former Major in the US Air Force and nurse during Operation Desert Storm. Her work on behalf of Gulf War veterans began in 1993 and she has testified on their behalf before many committees and government bodies. Denise, who also suffers several symptoms of Gulf War Illness, will discuss the latest news and recent developments in this issue. The effects of this disease has not stopped her as a regular commuter to Washington, DC in continuing her fight for awareness, government accountability and deserved health care for our Gulf War vets. She is presently working with issues involving our service personnel in the MIddle East today.

REMEMBER H. RES. 103. CALL, VISIT AND FAX YOUR REPRESENTATIVE TODAY TO SPONSOR.
