The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall will be available for viewing daily from 0900 to 2100 beginning 0900 Sunday, October 27 and ending at 1700 on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at the RV Park adjacent to the Saddle West Casino on Highway 160 in Pahrump, Nevada.
This site is dedicated in remembrance to our fallen comrades who paid the ultimate price to protect the freedoms we enjoy today, to acknowledge the contributions of the living survivors, and to educate younger generations of the sacrifices made that have not been properly recognized or understood.
This is an enriching experience for all those that visit and one that people do not soon forget. The viewing is sponsored by the Pahrump Valley Lions club chaired by Joanne Abbamonto and by the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The SaddleWest Hotel/Casino RV Resort is particularly proud to be able to help sponsor this worthwhile event and has set up special corporate room rates along with special golf packages available during the time of the viewing of the moving Wall. For those not familiar with this area, it is only 45 minutes west of Las Vegas and has warm days and cool sweater nights, no traffic, and peaceful, quiet days and nights. In addition, there are three excellent golf courses, Death Valley only 60 miles away, right next to the Mt. Charleston recreation area, wonderful rooms and suites available plus a great buffet and 24hour dining at the Silver Spur Restaurant. All this with Vegas style gaming and all at reasonable prices."
