"Lao government ministers visit US MIA camps
Senior Laotion government ministers have toured the base camp of a joint US-Lao task force searching for Americans missing in action or MIAs from the Vietnam War.
Since 1985, joint US and Lao teams have been investigating aircraft crash sites and other areas where American servicemen are believed to have disappeared during the secret war in Laos from the early 1960s until 1973.
The US embassy says more than 89 recovery operations have been conducted with 160 of the 560 MIAs in Laos being identified.
