"Viet veterans to hold POW/MIA services
Gazette Staff Reports

TAUNTON -- The Taunton Area Vietnam Veterans Association will hold its annual POW/MIA Day Service on Sunday at the Vietnam Memorial on Church Green.

The remembrance ceremony for the 1,936 POW/MIAs will begin at 9 a.m. The names of all POW/MIAs from Massachusetts will be read and prayers will be said.

Since it will be Easter Sunday, there will be no speeches, just a solemn tribute to those who have never come back, according to organizers.
