through the five boroughs of New York City.
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Mission Statement
Our major function is to publicize the POW/MIA issue. To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all past wars, and to help correct the past and to protect the future veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners of War/Missing In Action. Second, we are committed to helping disabled veterans of all wars.
Rolling Thunder® Inc. is a non-profit organization, each and every individual donates his or her time because they believe in the issues at hand.

Suggested routes to Midland Beach Assembly Area:
From Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island: L.I.E., Northern or Southern State Pkwys to Cross Island Pkwy South. Take Cross Island Pkwy to Belt Pkwy (west bound) to Exit 3 Verrazano Bridge. Take LOWER LEVEL of bridge and bear right after toll to LILY POND AVE. exit. Continue into FATHER CAPODANNO BLVD. to parking field (on the left) at Lincoln Avenue.
From Central / Southern NJ and Staten Island: Take NJ Turnpike to exit 10 or 13 and follow directions to Verrazano Bridge. Take LAST EXIT in S.I. before Verrazano bridge (LILY POND AVE), follow service road to LILY POND AVE make RIGHT. Follow above directions from Long Island.
From Northern NJ and Upstate NY: Take George Washington Bridge (I 95) to Major Deegan Expy. South, (I 87) to Triboro (I 278) Bridge to Queens. Follow Grand Central Pkwy to Bklyn-Queens Expwy (I 278) South to Verrazano Bridge LOWER LEVEL and follow above directions from Long Island.
Please Note:
American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) rules require that all minors participating in this event must complete a Minor Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement. This form must be signed by the minors parent or legal guardian. Other adults such as; grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc., may sign the form, if they present notarized authorization from the minors parent(s) to assume this responsibility.
No minor will be allowed to participate without completing the release form named above.
