"I suspect that Buyer is holding this POW/MIA hearing more to claim that he "kept his word" to hold a hearing than vote-getting, although there is probably a little of that also.

My understanding of the hearings is that is deals with implementation and results of the "Missing Persons Act." While an important piece of legislation, I can think of about half a dozen other topics of more importance, from the "Key Findings" just released to Russian cooperation.

Regardless, I will be attending the hearings. We shall see if Mr. Buyer has learned anything in his two years.
