ON OCT 17 OR 18TH I WAS PART OF THE 7TH FLEET AND MADE A BEACHHEAD ON LEYTE THE MORNING OF OCT 20 1944. I WAS A CORPSMAN LOANED OUT BY THE 49TH GENERAL HOSP . ATTACHED TO THE 10TH ARMY CORPS. ON THE MORNING OF OCT 20 WE LANDED ON WHITE BEACH IN LEYTE . THAT EVENING WE WERE AMBUSHED AND TAKEN TO BILIBID PRISON IN MANILA I WAS THERE FROM OCT 20 TO FEB 4 1945 WHEN WE WERE LIBERATED BY THE 37TH DIVISION .

I AM LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO MIGHT REMEMBER ME . MY RECORDS WERE BURNT IN 1973 FIRE . AND I MUST PROVE I WAS THERE .

PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU CAN REMEMBER
