Re: Two More South Korean Prisoners Escape

Date: December 14, 1998

With the escape of two more POWs from North Korea, the question of North Korea's ability the hide and maintain POWs within her borders is more certain than ever.

South Korea's state intelligence agency announced that Kim Bok Ki, 67, and Park Dong Il, 71, fled a labor camp, after 45 years of forced slave labor, and exited via China. No additional information has been forthcoming as they are being debriefed.

Are these two men part of the group of surviving POWs that previous escapees spoke of... or another group. We can only watch events unfold and wonder.
