This in from Jay Veith -

"Just saw in the TV Guide for next week that a made for TV movie about Dieter Dengler will be shown on Cinemax at 11:30 P.M. Thursday night. Apparently it is titled the same as his book, "Escape from Laos," and does include him recreating some of his escape from the Pathet Lao prison camp. It also has him having Thanksgiving dinner with the helicopter pilot who rescued him."
