After a harrowing week of Khmer Rouge executions and defections, Cambodia news is reporting that war criminal Pol Pot has been captured.

Pol Pot, who masterminded the ethnic cleansing of 2 million Cambodians that became known as the Killing Fields, is being held by his own Khmer Rouge troops. They have stated that he will be turned over for an International War Crimes Tribunal.

Pol Pot's brutal Khmers rampaged through the tiny country on a 4 year mission of hatred in an attempt to turn whatever remained into a slave labor nation. In addition to the millions of Cambodians who suffered the unspeakable horrors perpetrated upon them, countless other children, women and men were murdered by this madman and his minions.

Questions about American POWs, lost, hidden or murdered somewhere in the depths of the dense Cambodian jungle, have never been answered. Perhaps now, some of those answers may be found.
