Re: Grant For POW Documentary

Date: May 16, 1997

Aircraft giant, McDonnell Douglas, has announced a $900,000 grant. The McDonnell Douglas Foundation stated the money would be used to create a 90 minute documentary on the experiences of aviators in captivity.

The documentary is scheduled to broadcast in 1998, the 25th anniversary of Operation Homecoming, which was the return of the acknowledged POWs from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

The film is to encompass the POW experiences of aircrews from ALL modern day conflicts.
